Ooohhhh traffic! Driving home recently, my inner voice suddenly told me to take the freeway, but I wanted to take a more scenic route, so I ignored it and drove past. A block later, it said ‘turn around and take the freeway”. Why? I wanted to take the scenic route, so again, I ignored my intuition. As a result, I ran into major construction and was delayed getting home by about 30 minutes.
But what if I HAD taken the freeway? I never would have known about the construction, nor WHY I was guided by my intuition to take that route. That’s often how it is. But the more we learn to listen to our Intuition, the easier it becomes to trust it.
I’m grateful for this delay actually. It was a perfect reminder that Intuition is always working for my best outcome – but we rarely get to know the ‘what if, or why’.
It is, however, always our choice to take action on the Intuitive guidance, or not, and find out why.
