Your life is calling. Are you listening? – Transitions aren’t easy for me – for many of us, I’m sure. And yet I’ve had a lot of opportunities to learn and grow from them. It seems when it’s time for me to take my next step, jobs wind down, relationships end, etc. All things that make me/allow me the opportunity to find what I need to do next. Would I have changed direction if those things hadn’t happened? Probably not.
Did I want to radically change careers at nearly 50? No. Had I planned for such a transition? Definitely NOT. But there it was. I had to deal with it – and find my next step. I learned to ask certain questions, and really tap into and listen to my Intuition. I did an inventory of what skills I have, and what was I am passionate about. That led me to start an import business – I was able to use my sales, marketing and operations skills and combine them with my passion for travel.
